“My dad, my dad's father, and my mom's father and stepfather all served in the military,” David said. “It’s a big tradition in my family, and I knew the first time I heard about Wounded Warrior Project, I wanted to try to honor their service by supporting a cause worthy of their memory.”
"The bake sale was a community project that I started seven years ago," Haley said. "However, I have involved the school to a much bigger extent in the last few years through the club I started – Wounded Vets Strong. I decided to support Wounded Warrior Project because I was inspired by my father. And Wounded Warrior Project's mission and goals really moved me."
I spent several years researching what could I do to really make a difference that would not only assist current the generation of September 11 victims, but the next generation of men and women who will serve and sacrifice for this nation," Craig said. "That's why I am walking across the country spreading the word about Wounded Warrior Project at every stop."
